Job Description for Maintenance Technician/Handyman:

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician/Handyman for a Property Management company in Santa Monica. As a Maintenance Technician/Handyman, you will perform duties such as general maintenance/repair of clients’ facilities. Duties may include performing electrical and mechanical improvements and repairs, as necessary.

Pay: $23 to $33/hr DOE

Hours: 7a-4p, M-F

Responsibilities of a Maintenance Technician/Handyman:

Perform some renovation work including light carpentry, drywall installation, replacement of doors, locks, windows, and other fixtures including toilets, sinks, baths, showers, outlets and switches, cabinetry mounting, light demolition
Perform simple electrical, light plumbing, and mechanical repairs
Utilize power tools to fix and replace facility components and equipment
Fix and patch any holes in the wall
Maintain and safeguard all company tools and equipment

Requirements and Responsibilities of a Maintenance Technician/Handyman:

Follows safety protocols and procedures
Takes pride in workmanship and working efficiently
Dedicated to working on all jobs with efficiency and focus
Interested in expanding knowledge and increasing job relevant skill sets.
Reliable transportation (truck or SUV preferred, but not required)
