Principal Service Solutions is hiring Entry Level Equipment Technicians in Phoenix, AZ. You will be trained on modification, installation, servicing, and maintaining semiconductor equipment in a manufacturing fab/cleanroom environment.

We are searching for detail-oriented people with technical and mechanical experience/aptitude ( e.g. using hand and power tools to work on cars (vehicle repairs or maintenance), repairing machines, etc...) who are looking for an opportunity to start a career that offers unlimited opportunity for growth and career progression. Pay Rate: $25.00/hr.

Job Description:

• Perform equipment pre-installations and setups
• Perform equipment corrective maintenance
• Perform equipment conversions and upgrades

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

• Mechanical and/or electrical aptitude/experience and the ability to use appropriate hand tools, meters, scopes, and other specialized equipment are required.
• Full-time travel/and or occasional overnight travel to the factory, training facilities, and customer locations may be required at some point to support activity in different semiconductor fabs around the country. All out-of-state/country travel expenses will be paid. Must be okay with travel/ being away for 6 to 8 weeks if required for training.
• Must be flexible with all shifts, days/nights.
• Valid Driver's License.

Physical Requirements:

• Job duties are often performed in confined areas in a cleanroom environment, in awkward positions, and/or in high places
• Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and the ability to lift/carry objects up to 35 pounds are required
• May require bending/stooping/crawling/climbing
• May require the use of Personal Protection equipment and proper industry safety procedures when working with one or more dangerous elements or conditions such as chemicals, electric currents or high voltage, moving mechanical parts, radiation, etc.

Educational Requirements:

• Minimum Education of High School Diploma required or equivalent AS degree in an engineering discipline is highly desirable (related engineering discipline is electronics, electrical, mechanical, and chemical)
• Military education combined with related experience may be substituted for academic education
• Troubleshooting and component board-level repair are a plus.
• Precision mechanical repair is a plus.
