Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Teaching Spanish to elementary and middle school levels.
- Working in a creative program with a fully developed world language curriculum focused on global learning.
- Collaborating in a team with an innovative content-connected curriculum.
- Utilizing technology in the classroom.
- Creating an inquiry-based, active learning environment aligned with standards.
- Using formative and summative assessments to inform instruction and measure progress.
- Communicating effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Experience teaching Spanish to elementary and middle school levels.
- Knowledge of proficiency-driven instruction in the target language.
- Willingness to work in a creative, collaborative environment.
- Proficiency with technology integration.
- Ability to create an active learning environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- NY Teaching Certification.
- Spanish Teacher Specialty Certification.
