Summary

Vincentian Home, a senior community in Pittsburgh’s North Hills, is in need of a Certified Nurse Aide to join our Clinical Excellence Team. The CNA provides direct care to residents which includes personal hygiene, dressing, feeding, transporting and restorative care, documenting resident care as required and communicating effectively with residents, family members, and staff.

THIS IS A NO-WEEKENDS SHIFT WITH FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING OPTIONS! Hiring for all shifts.

What You’ll Do at Vincentian

As a CNA at Vincentian, you’ll promote and support a resident centered care environment that ensures the treatment of all residents, family members, visitors, fellow employees and customers with kindness, respect, and dignity. You'll adhere to all facility and department work rules, policies and procedures, perform specific technical procedures in accordance with standards of practice, respond to the resident call system, and maintain neatness of resident care areas. You'll also compares diet trays with diet orders before serving, serves trays, feeds residents as necessary and removes trays. You'll Assist with or provides personal care after meals.

You'll document necessary information reflecting resident care in Electronic Health Record and complete specific nursing and restorative assignments per nursing unit routine, along with other duties as assigned.

About You

Our Certified Nurse Aide must meet the following requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Current active registration on file with the PA Nurse Aide Registry or in the process of training/certification.
• Previous resident care experience or related training preferred.
