Job Description:

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will work in the Respiratory Therapy Department, providing critical respiratory care services. This position requires a flexible shift schedule and is limited to a 59-day assignment. The ideal candidate must hold a current New York State (NYS) license as an RRT and possess critical care experience. Current BLS certification is mandatory, while Registered Respiratory Therapist certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care is preferred. The dress code includes a uniform provided by NYP (lab coat). The reporting location is Carrington Basement, Respiratory Therapy Department.

Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory therapy services as per patient needs.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient care outcomes.
