Education and/or Experience:

• High School Diploma
• 1 year of experience as a dental assistant, dental hygienist or sterilization technician.
• Certificate of Achievement in Dental Assisting, or On-the-job training as a Dental Assistant
• BLS for Healthcare Providers, (AHA or ARC)
• Radiation Safety Training (Preferred, not required)
• CA IF RDA/RDAEF: CA Dental Practice Act certification
• IF not RDA/RDAEF: Infection Control certification (8 hour), CA Dental Practice Act certification (2 units)
