Job Description
Keystone Mental Health Services is currently seeking Direct Support Professionals to join our team in making a positive difference in the lives of our neighbors and the community.
The Work:
- Provide quality supports to adults with mental illness in a residential home or apartment based setting
- Assist individuals to become more independent, allowing each person in our services to take a lead role in their own rehabilitation process.
- Provide personal care, administer medications, and mentor individuals following their treatment and support plans.
- Assist with cooking, cleaning, and other household responsibilities.
- Plan meaningful recreational activities and take individuals into the community and to appointments as needed.
- Complete daily documentation as required.

Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to learn and apply proficient computer skills, including the use of software and other web-based systems.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to read, interpret and apply policies and regulations.
- Valid driver's license and have daily access to a properly insured vehicle.
- Successful completion of the pre-employment process, including motor vehicle record and criminal background checks
- SCR programs ONLY: Must be 21 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in the human services or mental health field.
