Experienced Family Law Paralegal

We are seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law and possess exceptional organizational and communication skills. As a key member of our legal team, the Family Law Paralegal will provide comprehensive support to attorneys, manage case files, and assist clients throughout the legal process.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct client interviews and gather relevant information pertaining to their case.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
• Maintain organized and accurate case files, ensuring all documents are filed appropriately.
• Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
• Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel to schedule meetings and hearings.
• Conduct legal research on relevant statutes, case law, and procedural rules.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on case progress and answering any questions or concerns.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a family law paralegal preferred.
• Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of family law procedures and court rules.
• Familiarity with legal software and case management systems is preferred.
