Pavement Marking Foreman

Our employees have a strong sense of pride because their work matters. We are looking for a skilled Pavement Marking Foreman to join our team. Responsibilities:

• Maintain and operate specialized pavement marking equipment for installing all types of pavement markings, including thermoplastic, traffic paint, preformed plastic, hot tape and raised pavement markers. Drive as assigned.
• Operate various types of specialized pavement marking equipment related to the various types of markings being installed.
• Applies pavement markings. Prepares materials and surfaces; paints and/or applies marking tape and/or hot plastic material.
• Conduct daily pre & post trip inspections on company equipment operated or driven daily. Includes completing a Daily Vehicle Inspection Report.
• Perform routine and daily maintenance and service on all company equipment used during their shift.
• Cleans and maintains marking equipment daily.
• Loads, unloads various equipment with appropriate materials for days production.
• Installs and removes striping on streets, parking spaces, parking lots, islands, crosswalks, etc.
• Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and maps.
• Using excellent customer service skills establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other employees, officials, and all members of the public.
• Installs reflective raised pavement markers and both hot and cold plastic pavement marking material.
• Updates daily accurate reporting for work performed on the job in B2W.
• Manage crew which includes, but not limited to managing hours, discipline, and safety.
• Operate under all CDL compliance requirements including utilizing Verizon Connect.
• Operate various types of fork and lift trucks.
• Is generally alert to conditions and events occurring on city streets and rights-of-way and can respond accordingly.
• Attend periodic job and safety training as required.
• Attendance at work is an essential function of this position.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• 3-10 Years pavement marking experience.
• Any combination of education, training, and experience that would likely provide the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform in the position is qualifying.
• Possess and keep current a valid Arizona Class A CDL driver's license.
• Maintain CDL endorsement(s) to include HAZMAT and tanker (Preferred)
• Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to communicate in English.
