Deburr Operator

The Deburr Operator is responsible for cleaning, grinding, and polishing metal materials per the work order and engineering drawing. The Operator must adhere to the engineering drawing, relevant specifications, and all other relevant documentation while deburring materials. The Operator must verify before, during, and after the process that the work product conforms to the engineering drawing and other relevant specifications.

Responsibilities

• Deburrs or polishes parts.
• Cleans interior surfaces of holes.
• Changes tools on powered equipment
• Places parts in and out of debur machine, media blaster and/or brush deburr.
• Inspects parts for proper finish.

Requirements

• Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
• Must be comfortable doing repetitive tasks.
• Must be detail-oriented.
• Must be comfortable using a microscope for extended periods of time.
• A background check and drug screen are contingent upon hiring.

Note to Candidates:

Candidates must have at least 1-3 years of experience to be considered for this position.

Candidates with prior aerospace experience will be highly considered
