Job 18175: Temporary Bankruptcy Legal Secretary/Assistant

Well-established New York City law firm is seeking a Bankruptcy Legal Secretary/Assistant to support its midtown Manhattan team on a temporary basis.

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and detail-oriented self-starter with:
●   3+ years of law firm administrative/secretarial experience supporting a litigation and/or bankruptcy practice group, required
●   Experience with Bankruptcy software, ECF, and PACER, preferred
●   Proficiency with Microsoft Office
●   Excellent written and verbal communication skills
●   Excellent proofreading/editing skills
●   The ability to work independently as well as part of a team

The Bankruptcy Legal Secretary/Assistant will:
●   Draft pleadings and correspondence
●   E-file documents electronically within the Federal, Bankruptcy and State Courts
●   Assist with additional tasks, as needed

Additional Information:
●   To start: June 2024
●   Anticipated duration: 4 months
●   Hourly rate: TBD commensurate with experience
●   Monday - Friday: 8:30AM - 5:30PM
●   Hybrid schedule: 3 days in office, 2 days remote
