Job Summary:
As a Customer Service Assistant/Advisor Assistant at Mckinnon Nissan in Clanton, Alabama, you will be an integral part of our customer service team, providing exceptional support to our valued customers. In this full-time, hourly role, you will have the opportunity to work in the fast-paced and exciting auto industry, assisting our Service Advisors and providing top-notch customer service to all who enter our dealership. This is an individual contributor role, and you will be responsible for delivering our world-class customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this position is $13 to $15 per hour, and you will be paid on a weekly basis. In addition to a competitive salary, you will also be eligible for benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and employee discounts on auto services and sales.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer incoming customer calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member
- Schedule service appointments for customers and assist with rescheduling or cancellations as needed
- Assist Service Advisors in preparing paperwork and job orders for vehicle repairs or maintenance services
- Update and maintain customer records and service history in our database system
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with services provided
- Provide accurate and detailed information about our products and services to customers
- Handle customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with other departments and staff members to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Continuously strive to improve customer service and satisfaction by identifying and implementing process improvements

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in customer service, preferably in the auto industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient computer skills and experience with database systems
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Flexibility to work Saturdays as needed
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
