An Engineering company that manufactures agricultural equipment is looking to hire an experienced Fabrication Fitter Associate! The Fabrication Fitter will use specialized equipment to fabricate, fit, and weld new metal forms.

What You’ll Be Doing

Operates and maintains tools and equipment
Sets up machines and welding equipment
Follows blueprints to meet product specifications
Calculate material measurements to verify specifications
Conducts tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance
Reads and interprets blueprints and product drawings
Utilizes a variety of hand tools, saws and cutting equipment

Who We’re Looking For

2+ years previous experience in welding GMAW
Ability to weld in all methods, positions, and in small spaces
High mechanical aptitude, basic math skills and work with a tape measure
Ability to lift 25-75 pounds frequently
Able to operate cranes and forklifts
Experience with fabrication shop equipment including press break, shear, iron-worker, power tools, grinders, plasma cutting torches, etc.
Must be able to stand, bend, and stoop for 8+ hour shifts
Must wear safety glasses and hearing protection
Must be able to work with others
Manufactures and fabricates finished metal products
Ability to read/interpret blueprints/drawings for fabrication

What You Can Expect

$18.00 – $22.00/hr, based on experience
Regular schedule of Monday – Friday, 6am – 2pm & occasional Saturdays, 7am – 3pm
