Requirements

Position: Software Engineer at Revver Digital

Overview:

Join our dynamic team at Revver as a Software Engineer, where you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the growth of our innovative websites and software products in the marine industry. This role involves working with the latest technologies to develop cutting-edge websites and software solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain highly responsive websites written in PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL.
  • Work on modern marketplace websites using Next.js, React, and Microsoft Azure technologies including CI/CD, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Power Automate, Azure SQL Database, and Integration Runtimes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensure robust code quality through pull requests, code reviews, and automated tests.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Participate in daily standups, planning sessions, grooming meetings, and retrospectives.
  • Address and improve any technical issues on current websites.
  • Assist in the development of user stories and the management of the development backlog.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Software Developer with strong proficiency in React, PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL.
  • Experience with Next.js, and Azure services is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD processes, and version control systems like Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a growth mindset.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
