PV Installer

Qualifications

• Solar installation: 3 years (Preferred)
• Ensure quick and efficient installation of systems while providing excellent customer service
• Ability to spend time with a customer explaining the work and system to be installed
• Coordinate with fleet management as needed
• Ensure that job sites are clean and presentable during and after installation
• Motivate and support install crew and resolve concerns as needed
• Experience with residential solar installation
• Must be familiar with PV systems and varied install locations and troubleshooting
• Must possess prior site construction experience and familiarity with construction site safety practices
• Possession of a valid driver's license required
• Ability to lift, climb, balance, stoop, and kneel
• Ability to use hand tools
• Must be comfortable working at heights in various weather and roof conditions
• · Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds frequently
• · Expert in installation and commissioning of energy systems on roofs including array layout, and mounting hardware based on site conditions and customers’ needs and expectations
• · Applies advanced knowledge to improve processes and proactively reviews workmanship onsite
• Consistently tracks and monitors productivity goals and communicates areas of opportunity to the crew to contribute to overall improvement
• · Collaborates with warehouse team to ensure all materials and equipment necessary for installation are available onsite and communicates job status to customer and leadership
• · Ensures that equipment is weather sealed
• Performs routine maintenance on energy systems
• Driver’s license required (class c, clean driving record)
