Machine Operator -Production Laminator

BFC Solutions, a well-established facilities service organization, has been in business for more than 50 years manufacturing, installing, and servicing air filtration products for commercial and industrial customers. We are based in Nashville, Tennessee but serve a nationally recognized customer base in 48 states.

We are seeking an experienced machine operator to join our Nashville Team!

Position Overview:

Ability to run different types of machines. Operating the laminating machine requires loading media onto machine and ensuring that the finished product roll meets quality requirements.

Additional knowledge and skills required.

Ability to grasp the setup of equipment.

Mechanically inclined.

Able to work with minimal supervision.

Lockout, tag out knowledge.

Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills are required.

Move materials and/or parts between workstations.

Keep work areas clean and orderly. Responsible for conducting all work in a safe manner following established safety procedures.

Forklift experience is helpful.

Operate basic hand tools (manual and automatic) for occasional and/or extended periods of time.

Qualifications include:

6 months + machine operating experience.

Constant standing/walking and frequent bending and reaching.

Must be able to lift 50 to 75 pounds with and without assistance from lifting device.

Must be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing plant that is warmer in summer and cooler in winter.

Must read, understand, and comply with specific work instructions.

Must promote and comply with work safety and quality standards.

Basic math and reading skills.

Good communication skills.

Must be detail and quality oriented.

Plans details of working procedure.

Stages material in work area.

Operates machine to perform necessary job for creating finished materials.

Performs first piece inspection using one or more methods to assure all dimensions are correct and within given tolerances.

Makes fine adjustments to machine to bring part within tolerances.

Other duties as assigned.

High School Diploma or GED

Position is Full time Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
