Our Logistics department is essential for ensuring efficient supply chain operations and seamless coordination between suppliers, warehouses, and distribution channels, ultimately driving business success.

As a Logistics Analyst you will be responsible for working with ocean, truckload, and air carriers to negotiate rates, schedule shipments, and manage carrier performance through metrics and reporting. In addition, you will partner with Supply Chain, Warehouse, and Sales Operations teams, to create a reliable and scalable shipment and delivery experience for internal and external customers through data analysis, shipment documentation management, and excellent customer service.

In This Role

Facilitate reporting for the Inbound Logistics team and recommend actions to address carrier performance challenges
Develop and present carrier metrics and scorecards
Partner with carriers to resolve delivery issues
Create, update, and share shipment documentation for successful importation and US customs clearance
Partner with the Warehouse Operations team to resolve inbound inventory variances and publish monthly metrics
Collaborate with Supply Chain, Warehouse Operations, and other Four Hands teams to provide a predictable delivery experience
Propose and implement process change resulting in improved internal and external customers experiences
Identify cost saving opportunities and develop cost estimates
Uphold the Core Values and be a valuable member of the Four Hands team

The Ideal Person

Minimum 2 years in international logistics or supply chain experience
Bachelor’s Degree
Experience working with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers
General knowledge of shipment documentation for importation and customs clearance
Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Analyzes and interprets data results and communicates findings to the team
Ability to engage with internal stakeholders daily (Warehouse, Sales Ops, Supply Chain, Accounting)
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Experience with Six Sigma, Lean or other Process Improvement Methodologies
Solid understanding of network optimization and analysis
Knowledge of Microsoft BI or other Business Intelligence solutions
Proven ability to use data to identity and implement process improvement opportunities
