Test Technician

Position Overview:

Join our manufacturing team as a QC Test Technician, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our products. In this role, you'll visually inspect units before testing, perform production line acceptance tests using both manual and automated equipment, and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct visual inspections on all product lines.

Perform production line acceptance testing, including insulation and function tests.

Follow instructions, drawings, and procedures accurately.

Troubleshoot and provide solutions promptly, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.

Record test results and complete necessary paperwork.

Report any issues found on failed units.

Perform mechanical assembly tasks as required.

Lift up to 25 lbs. regularly and occasionally up to 40 lbs.

Handle large gauge cables.

Communicate effectively and collaborate in a team environment with minimal supervision.

Demonstrate excellent people skills in a diverse and dynamic team setting.

Uphold high work ethics and contribute to organizational success.

Adhere to Company Safety Standards.

Available to work evening shifts.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education/Experience:

2-5 years of experience in the electric industry.

Two-year technical degree in Applied Electrical Engineering or equivalent; or equivalent college hours in engineering or relevant industry experience.

Ability to read and interpret schematics.

Experience in power electronics.

Familiarity with standard test equipment such as DMMs, Oscilloscopes, Power Analyzers, Isolation Testers, etc.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
