SysteMacs provides a full suite of technological services to it's clients with a focus on integrating Macintosh Technologies into those systems. We are Macintosh - Focused and specialized, with the understanding that a great deal of our clients work with Macintosh laptops, desktops, iPhones, etc.

We provide ON-Site support to a 15 mile radius around Palo Alto and Downtown San Francisco.

We provide remote support to those clients.

Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a Macintosh-Focused Technology Consultant at SysteMacs, INC. located in Palo Alto, CA. The Technology Consultant will be responsible for providing IT consulting services, offering technical support, and providing analytical skills to clients. The consultant will also need to possess a deep understanding of information technology and be able to offer consulting services.

• Cat5e, Cat6 cabling skills
• Installing or troubleshooting internet connections
• Installing or troubleshooting WiFi connections
• Installing or troubleshooting router/modem/firewall devices
• Managing AFP / SMB file sharing
• Dropbox Experience
• Smart Home technologies - Alexa enabled, Google Home, HomeKit
• Smart Home devices - reverse engineering existing devices, set up new devices - ability to review entire home and recommend replacing of devices to simplify existing system.
• Audio Video systems - setup of dvr, appleTV, FireTV, Receivers, in-wall speakers - integrating, consolidating and recommending updated devices
• Sound systems - Sonos, cabling for sound systems,
