HR Assistant

The HR Assistant will provide administrative assistance from the front welcome desk. This role involves a variety of responsibilities including data entry, assisting with recruiting activities, and ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the recruiting team from scheduling interviews, to onboarding new hires, and all related duties 
• Assist with sourcing and recruiting campaigns
• Onboard new hires including running background checks, sending onboarding packets, and preparing the new employee workspace
• Support HR Managers with data entry, filing, and maintaining employee records
• Assist with workers compensation processing and leaves of absences as needed
• Participate in additional related HR functions as required

Minimum Requirements:

• New college graduate or 1-2 years of experience in an HR Assistant role
• Must take initiative to learn employment law
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Previous experience with an HRIS system (ADP experience preferred)
• Bilingual proficiency is desired but not required (Spanish)
