Salary: $113,000-$140,000 per year/DOE

Position Overview: This position provides on-going support for IT. The Azure Systems Engineer ensures robust, secure, and efficient operations of our systems infrastructure.

Language Skills: English proficiency required. Spanish is a plus.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

Amount of Travel Involved: 25% of the time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety procedures and work as safe as possible at all times.
• Design, implement, and manage solutions within the Azure cloud environment, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• Configure and maintain Cisco networking equipment, ensuring high availability and network security.
• Monitor system performance, anticipate potential issues, and implement proactive solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems and workflows into the Azure platform.
• Maintain and enforce security policies and procedures in line with industry best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and support for network and system issues, offering both 2nd and 3rd level support.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline operations and reduce manual intervention.
• Keep abreast of the latest developments in Azure services and Cisco technologies to drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere and interaction with customers, coworkers, and management.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Education and/or Experience:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required.
• Proven experience with Azure cloud services and managing Cisco network environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing, virtualization, and networking principles.
• Proficiency in network configuration, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Experience with system monitoring tools and automated deployment software.
• Excellent scripting skills for automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
