ELECTRONIC TECHNICIAN

Electronic Technician

Job Qualifications:

The Electronics Technician will perform fabrication, assembly, soldering, repairs, modifications and installation of electrical components, PCBs, wiring harnesses, cables, and associated parts.  

Specific Responsibilities:

• Familiarity with circuit board layout and fine pitch surface mount PCB assembly.  
• Soldering and assembly of fine pitch components on printed circuit boards using a microscope. 
• Fabrication of military and commercial cable assemblies (i.e. MS connectors, RJ45, CAT-V, coaxial, SMA, MMCX, MCX, UMCC etc.). 
• Performs electro-mechanical chassis assembly and integration. 
• Utilizes various test equipment including, but not limited to, multi-meters, and oscilloscopes
• Fabrication of prototype, production, test and engineering internal wiring harnesses (switches, LCD’s, LED’s etc.). 
• Ability to read schematics, technical work instructions and board layouts. 
• Inspection of boards, cables, and assemblies to meet quality control standard. 

  Minimum Requirements:

• Thorough understanding of electronics principles and design.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Excellent problem-solving ability.
• Ability to follow highly complex directions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with others.
• Woks proactively and cooperatively.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Associate degree in Electronics or related field.
• 2 years’ experience in related field.

Must be a US Citizen.
