Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, configure, and manage Confluent Kafka clusters in a cloud environment.
  
• Develop and implement efficient and scalable solutions using Confluent Kafka, Java, and Spring Boot technologies.
  
• Collaborate with development teams to define Kafka data ingestion and streaming requirements.
  
• Provide expertise in integration architecture and best practices, ensuring optimal system performance and reliability.
  
• Provide guidance on optimal Kafka configurations and usage patterns.
  
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the retail industry domain.
  
• Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring smooth data flow and system interoperability.
  
• Stay up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and advancements in the Confluent Kafka ecosystem and integration domain.
  

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong hands-on experience with Confluent Kafka and Java.
  
• Proficiency in Java development, including frameworks such as Spring Boot.
  
• Experience with clustering and high availability configurations.
  
• Direct experience developing web services, REST APIs, microservices with .Net, Azure, and Ocelot.
  
• Experience with Snowflake integrations and RDBMS systems like Oracle.
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues.
  
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  

Desired Skills:

• Development experience in Kafka connectors, including KSQL, Topic Authorization, and Confluent Tools.
