Job Type: Full Time

Hours: 9:00 AM-6:00 PM EST (After hours as needed)

Salary: 95,000-100,000 annually

Benefits: Available after 90 days for full-time employees

Responsibilities:

  1. Manager of Software Development:
  • Lead the development and execution of the software development and innovation strategy in alignment with AnswerNet's overall business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Vice President of Technical Services and other key stakeholders to identify innovative technologies and opportunities for software enhancements to improve customer experiences and operational efficiency.
  1. Team Leadership and Management:
  • Manage and mentor a team of software developers and technology professionals to ensure the successful design, development, testing, and deployment of software solutions.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, creativity, and continuous learning within the team to drive technical excellence and future-proof the organization's technological capabilities.
  1. Software Solution Design and Implementation:
  • Oversee the design and architecture of software applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into innovative and user-friendly software solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to industry best practices and coding standards during the software development process.
  1. Technology Evaluation and Adoption:
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement within the organization.
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools, frameworks, and technologies that can enhance AnswerNet's technical services and elevate customer service offerings.
  1. Project Management:
  • Manage software development projects from initiation to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop and monitor project plans, allocate resources, and coordinate activities with stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
  1. Quality Assurance and Testing:
  • Implement quality assurance processes and testing procedures to ensure the reliability and accuracy of software applications.
  • Conduct regular code reviews and performance assessments to maintain high standards of software development.
  1. Collaboration and Communication:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, customer service, and IT, to gather insights and align software development initiatives with overall business goals.
  • Communicate effectively with senior management and stakeholders to provide project updates, address challenges, and present innovative solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred, in Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (minimum 7 years) in software development, with at least 3 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Strong technical expertise in programming languages (e.g., Java, Java Script, .Net, C#) and software development methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of API (JSON) development.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving innovation and successfully implementing software solutions that contribute to business growth and operational excellence.
  • Solid understanding of software architecture, scalability, and security principles.
  • Experience with Agile development practices and project management methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote work environment.

 

Location:

Commutable to Willow Grove, PA, or can be 100% remote. Must be US based.
