Rockland Federal Credit Union (RFCU) is searching for an experienced, service-driven VP of Commercial Lending to help lead our successful Commercial Lending team.

Reporting to the Credit Union's Chief Lending Officer (CLO) and working out of our Rockland Headquarters, the VP of Commercial Lending will be responsible for targeting, developing, and servicing RFCU's Commercial Lending program, leading the team to maximize sales effectiveness. Leveraging relationship-building skills, you'll engage regularly with existing and prospective members to cultivate new business opportunities. You'll play a key role in underwriting loan applications, ensuring adherence to Credit Union policies and Fair Lending regulations. Your commitment to fostering a positive and flexible team environment will always be a top priority!

This position requires a Bachelor of Science degree or four years of equivalent college course work combined with three years of experience in the financial industry, preferably in a credit union environment. Also required is extensive knowledge of the commercial lending industry including CRE construction, C&I, and Specialty Lending. Strong sales and management skills will be essential, as well as demonstrated flexibility and willingness to adjust to change. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with members and staff at all levels within the organization will also be essential.
