Clinical Nurse Specialist (Part-Time)

Your Wellness Sources is looking for a qualified Clinical Nurse Specialist. Your Wellness Sources provides Integrated Wellness Services that include primary care, nutritional counseling, women wellness exams, behavioral health services, addiction management or substance abuse treatment to culturally diverse populations. The Clinical Nurse will be part of our Behavioral Health Program and will work in collaboration with our multidisciplinary team of providers, who are one of the main sources of referrals for our Behavioral Health Program. The Behavioral Health Program provide services to clients in the moderate to severe range of functional impairment that include individual and group therapies, medication management and education. We focus on patient-tailored recovery and work to help our clients live their best life.

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist with a Master's degree in Psychiatry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychiatric nursing and a passion for improving mental health outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients
• Provide psychotherapy and counseling to individuals, groups, and families
• Monitor and evaluate patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
• Educate patients and families about mental health issues and treatment options
• Participate in research projects and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing from an accredited program
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse and Clinical Nurse Specialist
• Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist (PMHCNS-BC) preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in psychiatric nursing
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
