Junior Trader

Foundations Investment Advisers RIA is a rapidly growing company which offers a turnkey asset management platform to more than 200 financial advisers across the country. Our company offers a forward-thinking culture in a fun work atmosphere with a focus on collaboration.

We're currently seeking a Trader to work with a team of investment professionals that is currently managing three billion in diversified assets. The candidate should have at least 3-years of active trading in equities, fixed income, derivatives, and alternatives. A strong work ethic coupled with an ability to work in a team environment are important candidate qualities. The investment team works market hours that start at 5:45 AM. RIA experience is desired with an understanding of custodian platforms: TD Ameritrade, Schwab, and Fidelity. Experience using Orion is also desired. Qualifications:

Undergraduate Degree

Strong desire and motivated to learn and work within the Financial Services and Investment management industry

Desire to pursue CFA and or CAIA

Able to work market hours

Strong attention to detail

Entrepreneurial, analytical, works well under pressure, manages stress well, and has solid IT skills

Knowledge of Custodian trading platforms and / or Orion

Responsibilities will include: working with colleagues to provide best in class service to clients, Execution of trades in equity and fixed income markets for model changes, rebalances, and cash management requests. The position requires one to maintain knowledge of current market conditions, the reasoning behind current model allocations, and the ability to express this information to internal colleagues as well as to our clients. The position will require analysis of economic data, market sectors, individual equity and fixed income issues, as well as other information that could impact the financial markets and model positions.
