Driver

Join our growing team at MG Moving Services in Boca Raton, FL as a dependable Driver, serving as a crucial member of our moving team. Our drivers are valued for their commitment and expertise. This challenging position involves managing moving assignments, ensuring safe transportation, and securing timely delivery of our cargo to our customers.

$18 - $20 hourly

• Drive and operate single vehicles up to 26,000 pounds GVW in Boca Raton, FL
• Safely load and unload freight using appropriate equipment
• Ensure secure and organized packing of load contents
• Keep detailed driving and delivery logs
• Conduct regular vehicle inspections and maintenance
• Adhere to DOT delivery and rest schedules
• Maneuver and park large trucks and buses proficiently
• Navigate routes using GPS or other routing systems
• Practice safe driving techniques at all times
• Comply with driver and vehicle DOT regulations
• Utilize basic technology effectively
• Follow MG Moving Services Policies and Procedures for drivers

• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license
• Pass a background check, drug screen, and driving record check
• Maintain a regular and dependable attendance record
• Be able to work variable hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime
• Be able to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to operate an electric lift, hand truck, and pallet jack is preferred but not required
• Must be fluent in English, Spanish is a plus
