Summary
All Aboard Preschool and Childcare Center is looking for Teacher for our nature-based center. The right candidate would be responsible for the Waddler (ages 1-2) and Toddler (ages 2-3) classrooms. Teachers must understand children's cognitive, social, emotional and physical development in order to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed. The Teacher must be skilled in communicating with both children and adults in order to meet the needs of the children. This is a floating position between the two classrooms. Mother's hours of 730/8am-3pm working 3 or 4 days a week. Pay is between $16-$18 an hour depending on college credits in ECE however college credits are not required for this position.
Duties
- Lead by example; encourage teaching team success.
- actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive and emotional growth.
- Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met.
- Ensure a healthy classroom environment - including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children.
Requirements
- Childcare experience is preferred but we will train the right canidate.
- High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
- Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification. (we will provide training)
- Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.
Benefits
