Job Description

Acara Solutions is hiring an Assembler for our client in Bloomington, MN!

Type: Direct Placement

Hours: M-F 7:30am-4:00pm

Pay: Up to $25/hr. **Depending on experience

Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

Perform difficult assembly of complicated electrical/mechanical units and sub-units with minimal supervision.
Work requires operating from drawings, sketches, specifications and various machine equipment.
Use a variety of gauges and fixtures for precision fits.
Handle units of medium to heavy weight.
Perform simple wiring operations in fitting units.
Determine wire routing and weight length, point-to-point wiring, cut cable, pin, crimp, plug or solder as needed.
Work is performed from blueprints, diagrams, process prints, build to print drawings, specifications or verbal instructions dependent upon unit or sub-unit to meet POA options, variable or modifications.
Review incoming pick lists and materials to ascertain shortages.
Report and record shortages.
Responsible for maintaining monthly schedule of assigned products and identify obstacles to supervisor.

Required Skills / Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED.
3+ years' electrical/mechanical assembly experience.
3+ years' experience reading blueprints and using hand tools.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

Mechanically-inclined.
Strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently and within a team-environment.
