Zinga Industries is currently seeking to fill a Product Assembly position at our facility in Reedsburg, WI. The Product Assembly position is a 1st shift role
Position Summary - Product Assembly
This position performs the tasks associated with production and assembly which include pleating, seaming, banding, element assembly, canning, silk screening, packaging as well as various machine operations. This position also performs the tasks associated with final assembly which include assembling various products. The employee in this position will be cross trained in different segments of the floor with the overall goal of having a good, general working knowledge of each segmented area, based on the needs of the customer, and the schedule of production. Under the direction of our team leads and the production manager, the employee will complete assigned steps in compliance with corresponding safety, productivity, and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities - Product Assembly
  • To perform any of the various machine functions as assigned by the team lead or production manager.
  • Works in a quality conscious and safety-minded manner.
  • Ability to perform work at a process speed and/or standard rates.
  • Work from product specifications or manuals to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Ability to move between job functions of product assembly with relative ease (includes but not limited to: bending, turning, twisting, reaching).
  • Perform simple, routine, and repetitive tasks using standard procedures.
  • Advise lead or supervisor with any problems with tools, equipment, fixtures, and materials.
  • Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned by lead or supervisor.
  • Ability to periodically life up to 30 pounds without restrictions.
  • Keeps workstations, tools, and surrounding areas clean and organized.
  • Follows all plant and department safety rules and regulations.
  • Understands and embraces Zinga - Filtration Group's culture.
  • Perform any other duties assigned / required by management.

Qualifications
Skills and Experience - Product Assembly
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Be able to read and interpret English proficiently.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred (but not required).
  • Must be able to read, write, and count.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Must be able to work sitting or standing for up to 8 hours.
  • 1-2 years of production/assembly experience is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail required.
  • Must be dependable with a heightened sense of punctuality.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background check / drug test.
