Multifamily Construction Project Manager

A local Real Estate development company is looking for a hands-on Multifamily Construction Project Manager to oversee and coordinate all the construction site activities according to project blueprints and schedule plans. Their duties include coordinating subcontractors, performing quality control and safety checks, and providing on-site direction when preparing construction sites.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate construction work according to priorities and plans.
• Schedule and monitor field productivity.
• Control field costs and subcontract work. Supervise fieldwork force to ensure all work is put in place in the most cost-efficient manner.
• Have a working knowledge of owner contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
• Know the scheduled delivery dates for all critical path materials and equipment.
• Know the submittal schedule
• Producing schedule and monitoring attendance of crew.
• Ensure manpower and resources are adequate.
• Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met.
• Assist in the resolution of scope conflicts.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of Multifamily Construction Project Manager experience.
• Experience building large complex projects successfully from start to finish.
• Demonstrated ability to direct the work of others including subcontractors and suppliers.
• Working knowledge of the construction process including scheduling, contract administration, equipment, manpower, etc.
• Well-versed in safety and government regulations (e.g., OSHA) with success in implementation on a job site.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to communicate and report effectively.
• Problem-solving abilities.
• Report on progress for managers, engineers, etc.
