Production Assembly

American Hermetics is seeking an individual with good mechanical skills. We have been in business for 30 years!

This is a perfect position for an individual that enjoys working with tools and seeks perfection in a team oriented working environment. If you are burned out in your current trade (auto mechanics, machining, small engine repair) and a team player this might be the position for you. This is a full time position and once trained individual will need little supervision in excellent air conditioned work environment. This position does have opportunity for growth as you become more experienced in our trade. We are willing to train the perfect candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Disassembling compressors, cleaning parts, preparing for final assembly & paint
• Keeping shop orderly & clean
• Preventative maintenance on shop equipment
• Delivering compressors & assisting customer with installation
• Operates machinery (forklift or trucks) safely & maintains machinery in a clean, orderly manner
• Other responsibilities as set forth by the team

Requirements:

• High School Diploma, or GED
• Valid Driver's License
• Stable Work History with good references
• Be able to pass a background check
• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Hard-working with the ability to stay focused, pay attention to detail
• Safety conscious and able to work well with others
