CAD Co-Ordinator (Civil/Survey)

HireResolve is currently partnering with a leading company in Warrington, PA to find a skilled individual to join the team as a CAD Co-Ordinator focusing on Civil or Survey specialties. This role encompasses two primary functions: (1) overseeing and coordinating our Computer Aided Design (CAD) operations and (2) completing assigned civil engineering or survey projects utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D. Key responsibilities include ensuring quality control of all output and offering education and professional development opportunities to technical staff to enhance efficiency. Other duties invovled are:

• Engage in all stages of plan preparation and production.
• Uphold current CAD standards and develop additional standards as required.
• Establish CAD and software policies and procedures.
• Manage and update AutoCAD styles and databases.
• Assist in resolving software issues as they arise.
• Review base models and surfaces, addressing inaccuracies or missing features.
• Conduct staff training to enhance knowledge of additional products.
• Coordinate with CAD consultants as necessary.
• Identify problems and propose effective solutions.
• Conduct quality control and plan checking to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Execute various Civil Engineering and Land Survey projects as needed.

Requirements

Desired Requirements and Qualifications:

Educational Requirements:

• College degree or technical school in Civil/Survey related field preferred.

Experience Required:

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant Civil/Survey experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D at an expert level.
• Knowledge of MicroStation, Trimble Business Center, Cyclone, and Revit software is advantageous.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Goal-oriented and highly organized.
• Demonstrated desire and aptitude for learning new technologies.
• Self-motivated with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
