We are currently looking to add an IT Support Intern to our team. In this role, you will be part of an IT team that ensures proper computer operation, resolution of end user assistance requests, and secure asset management. From our office in Novi, you will support Berkshire team members located onsite and throughout the U.S.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assisting in providing Level I Support to associates throughout the company.
• Apply diagnostic utilities to aid in troubleshooting.
• Perform hands-on fixes remotely or in person, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications.
• Test fixes to ensure problem has been adequately resolved.
• Perform preventative maintenance on end user devices and other IT equip.
• Other duties as assigned

THE MOST QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:

• Currently enrolled or recently graduated (within 1-year) from an accredited university or college in IT related field
• Entry-level knowledge and skill within specified area of professional specialty
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
• Ability to understand and follow complex, detailed technical instructions
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Working knowledge of a range of software and hardware diagnostic tools.
