1. South Side Fitness • Fitness Center

2. Berto Guerra Fitness Center Santikos

SouthSide Fitness:

Monday, Tuesday & Friday 8am-5pm

Wednesday & Thursday 12pm-8pm.

Berto Guerra Santikos:

Monday, Tuesday & Friday 8am-5pm

Wednesday & Thursday 12pm-8pm.

JOB SUMMARY:

We are searching for our next SUPER STAR ! As the Fitness Supervisor you will be responsible for Fitness Center & Encino Ballroom Operations, programming and client experience. Responsible for ensuring the fitness & ballroom teams meet and exceed client expectations in the areas of customer service & experience. Supervisor is responsible for providing & promoting excellent customer service. Working together with the Director of Fitness to develop and implement the vision and strategy, consistent with the organization’s mission to develop and improve programs serving the Fitness and Wellness needs for members of all age groups and fitness levels.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure excellent customer service and customer responsiveness to both inside and outside customers.
• Understand and be committed to the mission and vision of CentroMed, Centro Fitness & Encino Ballroom. Be knowledgeable about CentroMed, Centro Fitness & Encino Ballroom and its programs.
• Be an advocate for CentroMed, Centro Fitness & Encino Ballroom, its programs and staff. Participate in and promote all programs and events.
• Drive the integration and cross-promotion of programs in Health and Wellness across the entire organization and our Community to maximize participation.
• Support the professional growth of supervised staff through mentoring targeted to their individual development needs.
• Develop and implement strategies for improving program participation and financial outcomes for programming.
• Monitor competitor programs, services, and sales activities.
• Coordinates effectively with the Director of Fitness regarding all aspects of the fitness center and ballroom regarding training, monitoring, and ensuring proper procedures are met.
• Execute company policies and procedures for the control of cash, property, products, and equipment.
• Work closely with the Director in overseeing the daily operations of Centro Fitness & Encino Ballroom, programs/events.
• Assist with monthly billing, collections and various administrative duties.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure product availability for both Centro Fitness & Encino Ballroom.
• Manage and maintain safe working conditions.
• Anticipate and identify problems, and initiate appropriate corrective action.
• Assist with Encino Ballroom tours, client agreements set up, and break down of Encino Ballroom.
• Assist with Telephone Inquiries & Membership Inquiries as needed for Centro Fitness and Encino Ballroom.
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• One year of supervisory experience required, fitness industry experience a plus.
• Must have excellent customer service experience with some sales experience.
• Must have excellent computer skills
• Must be highly motivated and energetic.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have organizational skills, strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:• Must be able to perform all the essential functions of the position.• Must be able to lift 20 lbs.• Must be able to meet the attendance requirements of the position.• Must not pose a direct threat to the health and or safety of others.
