Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Behavioral Analyst to join our team and provide behavioral modification services to children and adults with disabilities residing in their home or group home settings. This position plays a crucial role in conducting functional behavioral assessments, functional analysis, learning adaptive skills assessments, and integrating assessment results into individualized teaching plans and behavioral support plans for each person.

1. Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments and Functional Analyses:

As a Behavioral Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting thorough functional behavioral assessments and functional analyses. This involves systematically evaluating an individual's behavior to identify the underlying functions, triggers, and consequences, providing a foundation for targeted intervention strategies.

2. Administer Learning Adaptive Skills Assessments:

You will be tasked with administering learning adaptive skills assessments to understand the individual's current skill set and areas that require development. This involves identifying strengths and challenges related to daily living, communication, socialization, and other essential adaptive skills.

3. Develop Individualized Teaching Plans and Behavioral Support Plans:

Crafting individualized teaching plans and behavioral support plans is a key aspect of the role. This includes translating assessment findings into actionable plans that address specific behavioral goals and support the individual's learning and development needs. (It is essential to have proficiency in writing plans.)

4. Implement Behavioral Modification Strategies:

The role involves hands-on implementation of behavioral modification strategies. This includes applying evidence-based techniques to reinforce positive behaviors, reduce challenging behaviors, and create a supportive environment for the individual's overall well-being.

5. Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams and Direct Service Providers:

Collaboration is essential. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams and direct service providers to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to behavioral intervention. This involves effective communication, sharing insights, and contributing to the overall care plan.

6. Regularly Assess and Adjust Intervention Plans Based on Progress:

Ongoing assessment is critical. You will continually evaluate the effectiveness of intervention plans, making data-driven decisions to adjust strategies based on the individual's progress. This dynamic process ensures that interventions remain tailored to the individual's evolving needs.

7. Present Plan to LRC for Update or Initial Plan:

As part of the collaborative process, you will present intervention plans to the LRC (Local Review Committee) for either initial approval or updates. This involves clear communication of assessment findings, proposed interventions, and progress monitoring data to ensure alignment with organizational standards and objectives.

Requirements:

- Master's Degree with an emphasis on Applied Behavioral Analysis.

- CBA (Certified Behavioral Analyst) certification is required.

- Minimum of 1+ years of experience working in the behavioral analytic field with developmental disabilities.

- Proficiency in writing comprehensive and effective behavioral plans.

Additional Information:

This is an as-needed position that has the potential to lead to more stable work opportunities. The successful candidate will have the chance to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with disabilities through the application of evidence-based behavioral analysis techniques.

To apply, please submit your resume, cover letter, and any relevant certifications. We look forward to welcoming a dedicated professional to our team!
