The Staff Accountant will prepare and maintain financial records to track the organization's assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Manage Accounts Receivable and collection processes, includes credit control monitoring and evaluation.
• Engage in full cycle general ledger activities in accordance with GAAP standard and local regulations.
• Period-end closing activities, including prepare journal entries, allocation, accruals, and reconciliation, as well as other duties in accordance with the company timelines and schedule.
• Calculate royalties due and warranty reserves.
• Reconciles bank accounts at least monthly, verifies deposits, and addresses inquiries from banks.
• Verifies and/or completes payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.
• Manage various tax compliance, including sales and use tax, property tax and business license filings.
• Serve as a key contributor for outside auditors and facilitate various audit requests.
• Coordinates with software vendor to maintain accounting software systems; recommends updates to enhance the accounting software.
• Manages the purchasing and invoicing system.
• Maintain and update company accounting procedures and process.
• Support preparation of reporting packages.
• Support other financial members if necessary.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Experience and Skills:

• Bachelor's or associate's degree in accounting, or in a related specialization.
• At least 2 years experience in general ledger accounting, or similar.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and a problem solver with a "can-do" mentality
• Knowledge of general financial accounting
• Strong analytical skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, and accounting software.

The full-time base salary range for the Sr GL Accountant position is $102,000 to $120,000 per annum. The range reflects the minimum and maximum possible base salary for new hires for the role, based on the advertised location. Individual pay is determined by several factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and training.
