The Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Technician to join our team. The Electrical Technician is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment. To be successful as an Electrical Technician you should be able to read electrical system design plans and recommend improvements, as well as calibrate instruments, and diagnose faulty equipment. This is an opportunity for a long-term position and to join a growing company.
Responsibilities
- Assembling, evaluating, testing, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring equipment
- Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment
- Maintain safe work environment by following safety procedures and protocols
- Prepare accurate and detailed reports on electrical work performed, including maintenance activities, repairs, and upgrades
- Reading and interpreting electrical and electronic circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics
Requirements and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree or technical certification in electrical technology are a plus
- Experience as an Electrical Technician or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and wiring methods
- Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
- Strong focus on safety and adherence to protocols
