One of the top Mechanical contractors is seeking HVAC Pipefitters to join their team in the Austin area!
Refrigerant Piping - Copper pipe Fitter
Will be responsible for cutting, measuring and installing tubing and piping to commercial DX and VRF systems utilizing tools, brazing, etc.
JOB DUTIES:
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC related piing that's related to steam, hot water, heating and cooling systems
- Review blueprints to ensure correct installation
- Utilize hand and power tools
- Inspect systems to ensure correct installation
- Experience with mini-split systems
- All other duties as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 2 years experience in running copper pipe and PVC
- Experience with Direct Expansion refrigerant systems a plus but not required
- Experience with mini-splits
- Must have own hand tools
- Experience with brazing and soldering copper lines
