Mechanical pipefitters are skilled tradespeople who install, assemble, maintain, and repair piping systems used to transport liquids, gases, and sometimes solids for heating, cooling, and industrial operations. They work with a variety of materials such as steel, copper, and plastic, and often follow blueprints and technical diagrams to ensure proper system function. Mechanical pipefitters are commonly employed in construction, manufacturing, oil and gas, and power generation industries. Their work is crucial for the safe and efficient operation of facilities that rely on complex piping networks.
