Digital Print Press Operator

2nd Shift Position - Monday - Wed. (2:30pm - 4:00am)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, operate and run print projects on digital printing press
• Run tests and trials as requested.
• Detect and report defective materials or potential problems; complete quality checks.
• Maintains clean and orderly work area and equipment.
• Performs preventative maintenance on machine as required.
• Work to improve on the process and efficiency of new products and concepts.
• Comply with all company policies.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) related to job function.

Knowledge/Skills:

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Previous digital press experience is preferred.
• Able to perform basic set-ups on the machines; knowledge of basic print production and job flow beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good mechanical aptitude, computer skills and math skills needed.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Ability to problem solve and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
