Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

This individual is primarily responsible for the following duties: picking parts for work orders. Packing and kitting orders for shipments, act as a backup for receiving and unloading incoming material, accurately maintaining an inventory of parts and materials. Performing physical inventory counts as scheduled. Perform daily maintenance and clean-up warehouse areas.

POSITON RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Picking and pulling parts for work orders/sales orders
Packing and kitting orders for shipments
Receiving goods; checking shipping documents for accuracy; putting inventory into stock.
Unload trucks using hand trucks or forklift, adhere to safe OSHA standards; operates pallet jack and other warehouse forklift equipment.
Hands-on stocking and performing inventory counts as needed.
Performs sorting, packaging, labeling, unpacking, and/or logs or makes reports inventory which is shipped or received.
Follows established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, continuous quality improvement practices, safety policies, and promotes workplace safety and environmental practices.
Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies, maintains service of equipment including forklift, dolly, hand trucks, tools or other equipment required.
Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork and maintain department files of shipments in and out.
Ensure parts cage and picking areas are labeled and pick locations are established with all items maximizing space.
Performs any other duties as assigned.
Maintains excellent attention to detail, meticulous record keeping and organizational skills.
Other duties as assigned
