• Quantitative and Data Science Expertise: Exceptional command over numbers, statistics, data analytics, and data visualization.

• A minimum of 5 years of related actuarial experience.
• FCAS or career ACAS.
• Proficiency in SQL is required. Familiarity with Tableau or PowerBI is a plus.
• Experience in Python or R is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or related.
• Experience applying ML to business problems, including GLMs.
• Commercial Lines property experience is a plus, but not required.
• Experience with AWS or Azure is a plus, but not required.

A day in the life…

• Managing a team of two actuaries (opportunity for team to grow) in their responsibilities and personal development.
• Automating and enhancing standard actuarial processes for pricing, reserving, and claim analytics.
• Presenting to external and internal stakeholders on profitability.
• Engaging with reinsurers on QS and XOL placements.
• Supporting accounting & finance for quarterly & annual statutory reporting needs.

Demonstrated Experience for success in this role…

• A minimum of 5 years of related actuarial experience.
• FCAS or career ACAS.
• Proficiency in SQL is required. Familiarity with Tableau or PowerBI is a plus.
• Experience in Python or R is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or related.
• Experience applying ML to business problems, including GLMs.
• Commercial Lines property experience is a plus, but not required.
• Experience with AWS or Azure is a plus, but not required.
• Solid understanding of commercial lines property
