SECURITY GUARD

Overview of Position: The Security Department is responsible for the safety of our employees and guests, and the security of our property. They patrol the grounds, intervene in situations with guests and staff as necessary, and assist in all money movement throughout and outside of the lodge.

• Job Duties: The list below best represents many tasks you will be asked to perform at some time during your employment here at Windham Mountain. As we cannot predict all the challenges that we may face in providing an Above & Beyond guest experience, additional responsibilities may be added.
• Efficiently secure the properties of Windham Mountain and our guests.
• Assist in instilling a sense of safety and security to our staff and guests.
• Assist in money movement throughout and outside of the lodge including escorting staff with cash draws to and from their posts and delivering cash bags from the various outlets of Windham Mountain including the Winwood Inn, Snow Tubing Park and Country Club.
• Spot check different areas of Windham Mountain property several times during the work shift. (But not necessarily on a pre-determined time schedule.) Areas to be patrolled include:

• All doors in Lodge and Office Areas
• Base Lodge
• Maintenance Shop
• Electrical & Compressor Rooms
• Boiler Room
• Waste Treatment Plant
• Lock all gates in parking lot
• Base of C-lift
• All Real Estate Roads
• Village East
• Winwood Inn and Associated Buildings

• Job Qualifications:
• Licensed security guard or law enforcement officer preferred.
• Must be comfortable interacting with both staff a friendly and helpful manner.
• Must have strong listening and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to lift and maneuver over 60 pounds.
• Must be alert, reliable and able handle stressful, noisy and crowded situations.
• Must maintain a clean and professional appearance.
