As a Commercial Service Plumber at Wilson McLain Plumbing, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of plumbing systems in commercial buildings. Your responsibilities will include the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing fixtures, pipes, and fittings. Collaborating closely with other team members, you will contribute to the timely completion of projects while adhering to safety protocols and relevant building codes and regulations. At Wilson McLain Plumbing our Commercial Plumbing department also handles residential remodels. So, being well versed and flexible is a must.


In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing plumbing issues, conducting inspections, and implementing appropriate repair methods. Your ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications will be essential in planning plumbing installations. You will also work alongside other tradespeople, such as electricians and HVAC technicians, to coordinate project activities effectively.

Using a variety of hand and power tools, you will cut, bend, and thread pipes, as well as assemble and install plumbing systems. Thoroughly testing plumbing systems for leaks and ensuring proper functionality will be among your key tasks. You will maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used, and you may be involved in providing estimates for plumbing projects and procuring necessary materials.

Exceptional customer service skills are vital in this role, as you will interact with clients and demonstrate professionalism at all times. Staying up to date with industry trends, codes, and regulations related to commercial plumbing will be crucial in performing your duties effectively and delivering high-quality work.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures, pipes, and fittings in commercial buildings.
  • Identify and troubleshoot plumbing issues and determine appropriate repair methods.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to plan plumbing installations.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as electricians and HVAC technicians, to coordinate work activities.

Requirements:
