Plumbing Sales and Training Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a Plumber Training and Sales Manager to join our team. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement training programs:
  Create comprehensive training programs for Service Plumbers and Plumbing Apprentices to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  Design training modules that cover various aspects of plumbing, including diagnostic techniques, installation and repair methods, and customer service.
• Conduct training sessions:
  Lead training sessions to educate plumbers on best practices, new technologies, and industry standards.
  Provide hands-on demonstrations and practical exercises to reinforce learning.
• Mentor and coach:
  Provide guidance and support to Service Plumbers and Plumbing Apprentices to help them improve their performance.
  Offer feedback, advice, and solutions to address individual training needs and challenges.
• Sales management:
  Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales strategies and initiatives.
  Train plumbers on effective sales techniques to upsell products and services, maximizing revenue opportunities.
• Monitor performance and provide feedback:
  Track and evaluate the progress of plumbers and apprentices during training and in the field.
  Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
• Documentation and reporting:
  Maintain accurate records of training activities, including attendance, performance, and completion of training programs.
  Prepare regular reports on training outcomes and effectiveness.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends:
  Keep abreast of the latest plumbing technologies, codes, regulations, and industry advancements.
  Incorporate new knowledge into training programs to ensure relevancy and excellence.
• Quality Control and onsite training

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience as a Service Technician or Service Manager.  Mechanical manager experience accepted, plumbing manager experience a plus.
• Strong technical skills and extensive knowledge of plumbing systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to mentor and coach individuals effectively.
• Sales experience and a persuasive demeanor.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Valid US driver's license.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Goal-oriented mindset with a passion for learning and personal growth.
