JOB TITLE: Senior Operations Analyst

Department: Operations

Reports to: COO

SUMMARY

As the Senior Operations Analyst at Ascend Plastic Surgery Partners, you are the bridge between data-driven insights and frontline excellence. Your expertise in operational analysis using leading indicators will be invaluable in providing feedback and recommendations to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and engaging our practice managers. Leveraging the operational scorecards, you will play a critical role in steering the company towards its strategic goals, while maintaining a constant pulse on our performance commitments and impacts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned)

  1. Operational Analysis & Scorecard Management:
    • Consistently analyze operational data, especially leading indicators, to glean actionable insights.
    • Use and enhance operational standards scorecards to evaluate and prioritize performance-driven recommendations for practices.
    • Share regular insights with the COO, identifying both challenges and opportunities for operational growth.
    • Foster a continuous improvement culture, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and operational standards.
    • Integrate Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to identify areas of operational waste, inefficiency, or opportunity.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across practices, ensuring a consistent approach and measurable outcomes.
  2. Coaching & Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Regularly engage with practice managers, ensuring they're equipped with the necessary insights and tools to be successful in their roles.
    • Act as a conduit between frontline operations and executive leadership, streamlining communication and ensuring alignment across practices.
    • Monitor and maintain visibility into practice commitments, progress, and the tangible impacts of strategic initiatives.
    • Lead projects and initiatives with the COO in partnership with the doctors and practice managers

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. Master's degree/MBA is a plus.
  • 2+ years in project management or operations, preferably in the healthcare sector.
  • Proficiency in data interpretation tools, including Tableau, Power BI, and Excel.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with a knack for fostering collaboration across departments.
  • Experience working with physicians and healthcare providers is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability in driving continuous improvement initiatives, coupled with a strong understanding of operational excellence.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and to talk and hear. Employee may be occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
