Commercial Sales Consultant
Rod Baker Ford in Plainfield is expanding and is looking for a full-time Commercial Sales representative to service our existing and expanding commercial customer base.
The ideal applicant has great customer service skills, attention to detail, and a professional demeanor. Two years of business to business or commercial sales experience is preferred.
Job Description
• Commercial Sales Consultants work with commercial customers and assist them with selecting the vehicle that fits their needs.
• Identify and contact an ever-expanding base of prospective customers through referrals, research, and prospecting activities.
• Spend quality time building relationship with prospects and commercial customers through regular contacts at their place of business, supplemented with other communications.
• Maintain knowledge of incoming inventory, features, accessories, etc., and how they benefit customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Build existing client base by visiting potential new clients to increase sales.
• Attend trade show/contractor events throughout the year build relationships and to promote yourself & the dealership
• Maintain professional relationships with the manufacturer and companies that assist us with up-fits.
• Complete all aspects of the sales process including delivery of the vehicles.
• Provides ongoing support for commercial companies by providing product information and consultation on recommended models, trim, and up-fitter options.
