Job Description

13 Week Temporary OR RN/Operating Room Circulator/Circulating RN

The Shift Needed

Varied day shift start times needed. Flexible shift start/ending times based on cases.

What You Will Do

Circulate multiple specialties with emphasis on Orthopedics and Spine
Assess, plan, evaluate and ensure the implementation of the patient’s care to achieve identified outcomes and deliver safe patient care according to facility policy and procedure
Ensure provision of patient care daily in an organized and timely manner
Check updated schedule daily and prepare supplies and equipment
Reinforce and clarify physician instructions and explanation of procedures to patient
Verify surgical/procedure site with patient and according to surgical schedule and patient history and physical
Obtain and verify operative/procedure consent
Communicate relevant information to physician and appropriate staff

To Be Successful--You Will Need--

Valid Oklahoma nursing license required
Ortho and Spine experience
Minimum of 2 years operating room experience is preferred
BLS is required. ACLS and PALS is preferred
